The Galaxy Watch4 model has received an innovative BioActive sensor from Samsung — it has become more compact without compromising the accuracy of measurements. The new 3-in-1 sensor is used to measure three indicators at once-pulse (using an optical heart rate sensor), ECG, as well as bioimpedance analysis, allowing the user to monitor blood pressure levels, detect atrial fibrillation, measure blood oxygen saturation and, for the first time, determine body composition. A completely new function designed for bioimpedance analysis of the body provides a deeper understanding of the overall state of health and physical fitness, including key parameters such as skeletal muscle mass, basal metabolic rate, water and fat content in the body. The composition of the body is easy to check, just by putting 2 fingers to the buttons. In about 15 seconds, the sensor will record 2400 units of data.
