Design
The smartphone is very discreet - 1.6 mm on the sides, 2 mm on the top - only the chin being a little thicker with 3.98 mm. Security is provided by a fingerprint reader housed under the screen. The coating of the rear face is made of glass. The back side is protected by Panda Glass 2 from the Chinese Tunghsu Group, made from an alkali-aluminosilicate glass sheet obtained using a chemical stress process. The front is shielded by the traditional Gorilla 5 from Yankee Corning. The back photo module takes the form of the now traditional domino and takes the opportunity to cheerfully protrude from the rear face.
screen
The Reno6's screen is built around an AMOLED panel. At 6.43 ”diagonal, it displays 2400 x 1080 (410 dpi) pixels in a 20: 9 aspect ratio and covers almost 92% of the front panel. It has a 90 Hz refresh rate that can be lowered to 60 Hz manually (no automatic adjustment depending on the application used).
Audio
The Reno6 is equipped with a single speaker housed at its base, the sound of which escapes through the series of three perforations housed next to the USB-C port.
Performance
The Reno6 is built around a Soc Mediatek Dimensity 900. This opta-core chip engraved in 6 nm displays a maximum frequency of 2.4 Ghz. The management of the graphic aspect is supported by the Mali G68 GPU. They come with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 flash storage with a capacity of 128 GB (not expandable).
ColorOS 11.3
This homemade overlay takes the spirit of Android Stock while enriching it with new options. We particularly appreciate the possibilities of customization, effective management of multitasking and above all great general fluidity.
Autonomy
The Reno6 has a capacity of 4300 mAh divided into two accumulators of 2150 mAh. This allows the manufacturer to implement SuperVOOC 2.0 technology which charges the two elements in parallel thanks to the 65 Watt power supply unit supplied. In theory, the Reno6 would go from 0 to 100% in 28 minutes flat.
