realme Watch 2 Pro Brings Bigger Screen, GPS, and 14-Day Battery
In addition to smartphone devices, realme is a technology company that is diligent in releasing AIoT products such as smartwatches. Starting from realme Watch, Watch S, Watch S Pro, realme Watch 2, and the latest is realme Watch 2 Pro.
Compared to the realme Watch 2, the Pro version offers a 56% larger screen of 1.75 inches. The box is supported by a resolution of 385×320 pixels with a refresh rate of 30Hz and has maximum screen brightness of 600 nits. The body is dust and water-resistant with IP68 certification. Dimensions are 255.2×38.9×12.65mm strapless with a weight of 40 grams.
Like the Watch 2, the Pro version also has more than 100 watch faces, including a live watch and watch look on the Watch S Master Edition designed by South Korean artist Graflex. Another significant difference lies in the battery. The Watch 2 with 315 mAh can last 12 days, while the Watch 2 Pro with 390 mAh can last up to 14 days.
In addition, when the Watch 2 relies on a connected smartphone for route tracking, the Pro model already has its dual-satellite GPS, so it no longer depends on smartphones. Its features include sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level measurement, sedentary reminder, drink reminder, and meditation breathing.
Watch 2 Pro is also equipped with music and camera controls, a phone finder, weather, and IoT control. This smartwatch can also display incoming call notifications, but there's an option to reject calls because Watch 2 Pro doesn't have microform and speakers.
Currently, there are 16 training modes on the Watch 2 Pro. However, realme promises support for 90 sport modes through future OTA firmware updates. Currently, realme Watch 2 Pro is available in Malaysia in Space Grey and Metallic Silver color options.
