Samsung Announces Global Expansion of Bespoke Device Range, Complete from Kitchen Furniture To Shoe Cabinets

"We are eager to proclaim the global extension of the Bespoke range, offering comprehensive lifestyle solutions to empower consumers who explore their evolving lifestyle needs," said JaeSeung Lee, President and Head of Digital Appliance Business, Samsung Electronics. "It is our purpose to develop products that can help consumers better manage and live their lives."

Bespoke refrigerators now cover North America, Latin America, Europe, cis, Middle East, and certain regions in Asia and Africa. True to the true meaning of the word "bespoke," the bespoke refrigerator lineup comes in more than 20 original colors and seven finishes, presenting many combinations to choose from. Not to forget, the Bespoke refrigerator also comes with Samsung's characteristics so far, which includes a large capacity, comfort, and powerful cooling performance.

The refrigerator layout offered varies by region. In North America, consumers can choose from 4-Door Flex, 1-Door Column, or 2-Door Bottom-Mount Freezer. A wide selection of unique metal colors is also available to consumers in the region, including Champagne Rose Steel, Navy Steel, and Matte Black Steel.

For Europe, Bespoke is available in 1-Door and Slim 1-Door options and Bottom-Mount Freezer models in a choice of 1.8 and 2 meters high, with six different finishes and a variety of colors, from classic white to soft pastel colors and statement colors.

Samsung's all-in-one kitchen and lifestyle support device range

The latest Bespoke Kitchen Package is Samsung's first global expansion of Bespoke products outside the refrigerator, applying a customizable device philosophy to all parts of the kitchen, starting with the U.S. and European markets. Started in the second half of this year, the special offer for the North American region will center on Bespoke's flagship refrigerator. It will be expanded to Bespoke stoves, microwave ovens, and dishwashers, with the same design and look-and-feel as the refrigerator.

From a superficial perspective, the Bespoke Kitchen Package allows consumers to bring together or mix-and-match their kitchen aesthetics in favorite colors and finishes, in a choice of Matte Black Steel, Navy Steel, Champagne Rose Steel, and White Glass.

In 2021, Samsung will also expand its range of lifestyle appliance products. With a home that now doubles as an office, gym, and classroom, this latest Bespoke Home device will meet everyday needs by providing more flexibility, automation, and hygiene.

For North America and Europe, the latest lifestyle appliance lineup to be launched includes:

Bespoke AirDresser, which features various clothing care solutions to ensure that clothes remain in top condition, is undoubtedly in an upgraded Bespoke look.

Bespoke Air Purifier, an air purifier with a vacuuming mechanism from five directions to purify the air quickly and intensively, even in large spaces. The device is believed to be capable of eliminating 99.9999 percent of dust measuring 0.01 μm, while the 3-way bright discharge technology will circulate clean air in various directions.

Bespoke Jet, which comes with a clean station and charging station, so that when the vacuum activity is complete, the user can place the device in the dock to empty the dust place while charging the electricity automatically. This new version of Bespoke Jet will be available in three color options and launched in  United States, Europe, CIS, and Southeast Asia in the second half of 2021.

Jet Bot AI+, the first vacuum robot powered by an Intel AI solution. The device utilizes object recognition technology and LiDAR and 3D sensors to identify objects and determine the most optimal cleaning path. Jet Bot AI+ is also equipped with a camera and integrated with the SmartThings app to support remote home monitoring. Its marketing is also scheduled to take place in the second half of 2021.

Bespoke ShoeDresser, which helps keep shoes fresh after wear. The device removes odor and moisture and dries the shoe based on its material and shape, ensuring that it is treated correctly.
Bespoke Cube Refrigerator provides modular storage for a variety of products other than groceries, such as wine, beer, and beauty products. The device is quite enough to be placed in the bedroom or near the sofa or wherever the user chooses to store unique products that need to be in cold conditions.

Bespoke Water Purifier, which is available in single or multiple tap variants. The device features a four-tier filter system and can filter up to 2,500 liters of water, enough to drink.

Regarding its availability in Kenya, here is an official comment from Samsung: "Samsung will continue to expand the presence of the Bespoke range of devices around the world so that more people feel the benefits of a customizable, flexible refrigerator, and can lift the aesthetics of the homeroom. For Asia, especially Kenya, stay tuned for updates from Samsung for availability."

SmartThings to realize the connected living vision

For Bespoke Home, Samsung also emphasizes the vision of connected living by applying AI and automation. SmartThings drives that vision by providing a centralized, user-controlled home management platform. Long story short, what Samsung offers is a sophisticated tool and an intelligent service to complete it.

Take, for example, SmartThings Cooking. The service, which is already available in North America and several countries in Europe, provides personalized meal plans and recipes. The goal is to reflect the user's preferences and the food stocks in the refrigerator and automatically set the temperature and cooking mode based on each recipe, then apply them to the synchronized cooking utensils.

Furthermore, SmartThings Pet synchronizes with household devices such as Bespoke Air Purifier and Jet Bot AI+ earlier, so users can monitor their pets when they are not at home. The service is planned to be rolled out globally in Europe, Latin America, and Asia in the second half of 2021.

Another example is the SmartThings Clothing Care service that synchronizes with Bespoke AirDresser and smart washer and innovative dryer to improve the efficiency of laundry activities. The service will recommend cycles and settings for optimal clothing care, so users don't have to second-guess.

Finally, SmartThings Air syncs with Samsung Air Purifier and air conditioning to monitor the user's air quality inside and outside the home in real-time.
