Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G specifications and price

The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G makes its first steps in France. As the name suggests, it is a variant of the A52 with 5G. The device had already been spotted. It was formalized a few days on the British market.

5G, 5 CAMERAS, AND A 120HZ SUPER AMOLED DISPLAY

It is mid-range. It comes under the future Galaxy S21 FE. He still benefits from some big changes that come far beyond the letter in addition to his name. Indeed, it integrates the Snapdragon 778G processor that brings with it 5G. It is an ARM chip announced in May 2021, offering better performance and the first mid-range SoC to have a triple ISP (Spectra 570K), like the Snapdragon 888. This allows it, in particular, to process the stream of three sensors' lives simultaneously.

The Galaxy A52s is well equipped at this level with a 64-megapixel (f/1.8) main camera with optical stabilization, an ultra-wide-angle of 12 megapixels (f/2.2), a sensor for the depth of field of 5 megapixels (f/2.4), and a macro camera (5 megapixels, f/2.4). On the front is a 32-megapixel camera (f/2.2).

In terms of the SoC architecture, no real surprise outside of the triple ISP. We find an octo-core CPU (4 Cortex-A77 and 4 Cortex-A55) engraved in 6 nm, an Adreno 642L GPU, and a 5G modem Snapdragon X53 compatible with sub-6 and millimeter frequencies. This chip also supports Wi-Fi 6 and 6E multi-gigabit and Bluetooth 5.2. Nevertheless, the Galaxy A52s does not support Wi-Fi 6 nor millimeter 5G.

The Galaxy A52s has another asset up to its sleeve: a Super AMOLED display in Full HD+ definition (2040 by 1080 pixels) whose refresh rate rises to 120 Hz. So it is a quality screen that Samsung has selected for its smartphone.

Also, note the presence of a micro SD batch that allows expanding the phone's storage up to 1 TB, in addition to the 128 GB of internal storage(and 6 or 8 GB RAM). The battery capacity is 4,500 mAh, no wireless charging, but fast wired charging at 25 Watts. It offers two speakers and, therefore, a stereo audio experience. Finally, it is IP67 certified, which protects it against sand and immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. 

It will be available in four colors: blue, black, white and purple. For the moment, we are waiting for its formalization in Kenya. Nevertheless it is sold at 449 euros /KSH 57,943(6 GB / 128 GB) or 509 euros/KSH 65 606 (8 GB / 256 GB) in Spain.
