The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus is just one example of how the Korean company excels at paying attention to the smallest of details.
For this model, we have a tablet with a 12.4-inch 16:10 screen with narrow boundaries that are nevertheless crucial enough to allow us to grab the device without accidentally touching the touch panel.
The 13-megapixel front camera is positioned on the top border when holding the tablet horizontally.
An aluminum frame holds four speakers, a USB-C connection, two microphones, a MicroSD slot, a magnetic connector, and the rear's power and volume control buttons.
Because of the relatively powerful magnets, you may connect the S-Pen pen to the bottom or top edge of the Tab S8+ while held horizontally. This posture has the benefit of allowing the tablet to be laid flat.
The Galaxy Tab S8design +'s and construction quality. It is, quite simply, one of the most attractive tablets on the market.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ has a 12.4-inch 16:10 Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an amicable resolution of 1,752 x 2,800 pixels (266 PPI).
A Gorilla Glass 5 lens protects the panel, which is HDR10+ compliant. Outstanding features translate to an impressive display, demonstrating Samsung's preference for top quality.
With peaks of up to 500 cd/m2, the maximum brightness is good. Enough to experience true display comfort even in bright lighting. However, be wary of reflections since the slab continues gleaming.
AMOLED technology has a nearly unlimited contrast ratio, beneficial for multimedia, creative, and professional applications.
The Tab S8 Plus is powered on Qualcomm's newest high-end CPU. The Snapdragon 8 Gen1 is etched in 4 nm. When you add in 8 GB of RAM, you have a bolt of proper war lightning capable of executing anything smoothly.
Even with dozens of programs active simultaneously, putting the tablet back to default is difficult. The storage is in UFS 3.1 and has a capacity of 128 or 256 GB depending on the version, allowing for fast transfers.
Unsurprisingly, the benchmark scores are among the best for an Android tablet. The tremendous power of the S-Pen enables you to contemplate picture and video editing in 4K.
Although the tablet may not be enough to persuade a video professional to abandon his editing PC, it is nevertheless a helpful add-on option for on-the-go editing.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8+ runs Android 12 with Samsung's One UI interface (version 4.1). The UI is still as complete and customizable as before, and we can see Samsung apps alongside Google ones. Three Microsoft programs, as well as Netflix, have been included.
Regardless of the application you're running. You can tap the S-button Pen to bring up a context menu when you move it closer to the screen. So you can quickly: write a note, browse your notes, make a smart pick, take a snapshot followed by a letter, animated messages, scribbles in virtual reality, on-the-fly text translation, or even utilize the PENUP app.
Also worth mentioning is the "DeX" mode, which enables you to see a more traditional desktop interface when using a Bluetooth keyboard or the official "Book Cover Keyboard" for 44,251 Kenyan Shilling. The Galaxy Tab S8+ promises to transform into an actual tiny PC in this arrangement.
In truth, multitasking is quite successful, especially when two windows are placed close. Others may be added to floating windows, and their opacity can be adjusted.
The tablet has four speakers, two on the left and two on the right, that provide high-quality audio with a decent blend of treble, middle, and bass. The latter is recessed, but such a small tablet can't be expected to do much.
Keep in mind that you will be able to watch movies, TV shows and listen to music without your ears bleeding. Power is also present.
You may enable Dolby Atmos mode in the settings and adjust the equalization to customize the audio experience to your preferences.
The headphone jack is no longer available (and is unlikely to return), as are the headphones that are no longer included in the package.
To connect your wireless headphones and headsets, you need to utilize a USB-C converter or Bluetooth 5.2.
A 13-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 6-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor remain on the Galaxy Tab S8+.
6 MP ultra-wide-angle
The primary sensor is capable of shooting high-quality daylight photos with accurate colorimetry. The dynamics and degree of detail are both very suspect. With the sensor-ultra-angle, the observation is identical.
Front camera 12 MP.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Plus boasts a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle (120 °) front sensor capable of recording high-quality images and movies in 1080p at 30 frames per second, which is excellent news for video conferencing fans.
The Galaxy Tab S8+ has a battery capacity of 10,090 mAh. With the 120 Hz screen turned on, we could go two days on average with moderate multimedia usage. Count on a day and a half if you play a lot or utilize resource-intensive programs.
The Samsung tablet may be charged at a rate of 45 watts. We had to use our charging pad since none was included in the package. Enough to recharge the Tab S8+ by over 30% in only 30 minutes. Allow 1 to 20 hours for a complete charge.
