The following version of iOS will no longer be supported by WhatsApp
From October 24 of next year, the instant messaging service WhatsApp will stop supporting iOS versions 10 and 11. It will no longer be accessible to iPhone 5 and 5C users.
After discontinuing support for iOS 9 last year, WhatsApp has announced that it would stop supporting iPhone devices running iOS 10 and iOS 11 on October 24 of next year. Internet users shared this information on social media, where they saw a message urging them to upgrade their smartphone if they hadn't previously done so.
Furthermore, the application's Help Center website states that it will only work with iOS 12 and newer versions of iOS. While many iPhones may still download newer versions of iOS, the 5 and 5C devices will no longer be able to do so since they cannot download versions higher than iOS 11. On the other hand, the iPhone 5S, 6, and 6S are eligible.
