Vivo X70 Pro Price and specs : it will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and 8 or 12 GB of Ram
According to the leaks, vivo is preparing to launch very soon its vivo X70 series of smartphones. The vivo X70 Pro has been noticed on the Google Play Console and in the list of devices supported by Google, which gives us valuable information.
Latest high-end SoC, 120 Hz screen and very good performance in photography... The vivo X70 Pro should not lack arguments at its release.
The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 will be part of the Smartphone
According to 91mobiles, the X70 Pro incorporates the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, based on a 6 nm manufacturing process and equipped with the Mali-G77 GPU. This is a difference from the X60 Pro, which uses a Snapdragon 870. The Geekbench report tells us that the phone also has 12 GB of RAM, while a recent report from the Google Play Console announces that it will also be available with 8 GB of RAM.
The phone will come with Android 11, on which will presumably be grafted the overlay constructor Funtouch 11.1.
The list unveiled also offers us renderings of the front of the smartphone. We learn in particular that the screen of the vivo X70 Pro would be similar to that of the vivo X60 Pro . This is a 6.56-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED display perforated in the center with Full HD + resolution (1,080 x 2,376 pixels) and 440 PPI. The refresh rate would be 120 Hz.
Change for photo sensors
The part devoted to the camera has also been changed : the lenses are now placed in a vertical row. In all, four lenses would be installed, with a main lens of 50 megapixels. The renderings reveal that the camera once again bears the ZEISS logo, a sign of the confirmation of the partnership with the company specializing in precision optics.
The design of the phone does not make in originality. We find the USB type C port, the speaker output, the microphone as well as the SIM card slot in the lower part. The frame of the smartphone is made of aluminum, the screen is slightly curved on the sides and has Gorilla Glass protection.
In terms of connectivity, we should find 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port for charging.
It is expected that the new vivo X70 series will be launched at the beginning of the fourth quarter of the year 2021.
