For the remainder, iOS 16's new Widgets compatible with the iPhone lock screen were announced by Snap Inc. For instance, a widget that provides access to a particular chat may be instantly pinned to the lock screen.

In order to identify and access the most essential discussions more quickly, the platform now adds a new system of shortcuts that can be pinned to the top of the Chat tab.
