The online version of Snapchat, which was formally released over the summer and can be accessed at www.snapchat.com, had previously only been accessible in a few nations and by users who have paid premium membership to Snapchat+.

 The first countries serviced were the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. This social network's online interface, available in all countries, can be used most effectively only with Google Chrome.

In addition to letting users experience the app on a larger screen, Snapchat for the web enables users to chat and start a video call in the same window, all of which are clearly in sync with the mobile app. a benefit for users who, according to a statement made public by Snapchat in July, utilize the app's voice and video calling function an average of 100 million times every month.

For the remainder, iOS 16's new Widgets compatible with the iPhone lock screen were announced by Snap Inc. For instance, a widget that provides access to a particular chat may be instantly pinned to the lock screen.

In order to identify and access the most essential discussions more quickly, the platform now adds a new system of shortcuts that can be pinned to the top of the Chat tab. Additionally, these shortcuts will show the upcoming birthdays of your contacts and enable you to get reminders if you have not responded to a loved one.
